CRICKET

Cricket season at Deckers starts in May and goes on until September.  We have two cricket tables which are available during this period. These tables are well maintained and prepared to a high standard by our on site groundsman.   Both these tables are furnished with cricket covers ensuring that 99% of games can be played, even through our "British Summer".   Practice nets are available to use free of charge to our members.  Plenty of availability remains from Monday to Friday for corporate cricket matches.  Our caterers offer a wide and extensive menu ranging from cricket teas of sandwiches and cake, to a full hot and cold buffet.  

Our weekend fixtures are completely booked, however, if you are a cricketer and are looking for a team, please email or telephone us.  We can put you in touch with our 6 home teams, who are always on the look out for budding new talent to join them. 

Charges

As with everyone who uses our facilities, all team players must become members of Deckers.  

The charges for Pitch 1 is £85.00 and Pitch 2 £75.00.

Cricket teas of sandwiches, cake, tea and squash are £2.80 + VAT per person. (for other choices, please speak with Michelle in the office)

To use the practice nets please telephone your booking to the office.  Use of these nets is free to all members.

COLTS CRICKET

Starting at the end of May, going through until August, on Wednesday evenings 6pm to 8pm,  we are running colts cricket training for children from 8 years old.  Coached by a fully qualified cricket instructors, lessons must be booked in advance and will last for 2 hours.   

Equipment can be purchased from Deckers.  All colts must wear cricket shoes.

We will be introducing more coaching sessions during the school holidays.  These will take place during the day.   To book for these sessions please call Deckers on the number above.

20/20 CRICKET TOURNAMENT

Starting in the summer of 2007 we will be running our Friday evening 20/20 cricket league.   Two  teams to play each Friday starting in  May, concluding in September where the league champions will receive our Deckers Trophy.  

Entry cost is £50.00 per team and this includes all pitch fees during the league tournament.
