Membership
Our membership year starts on 1st July and ends on
30th June.
Membership is open to all over 18
years of age. Please contact Deckers office for an application form.
You will be asked for a small photograph of yourself to accompany your completed
form, but you will not have to attend an interview.
There are two types of membership
on offer. These are:
FAMILY
CARD MEMBERSHIP
Currently
£35.00 per annum
This
membership has been designed for the husband and wife couple, or partners, to
enjoy Deckers as a family unit. Children under 18 can come along on their
parents membership. You are allowed to sign in two guests each on this
membership at a cost of £1 per guest.
FULL
MEMBERSHIP
Currently
£30.00 per annum.
(£15.00 for Senior
Citizens (i.e. men aged 65, women aged 60 and both out of full time employment))
This
membership is covers one person to use our
Club facilities and take advantage of our discounted bar prices. With a
full membership you are welcome to sign in a maximum of two guests per visit
with £1.00 per person guest charge.

RULES

Membership
Cards
|

|
Entrance
to the Decker’s Sports and Social Club Limited will only be granted to
the following:

People holding a current and valid membership card.

Guests of a valid member who have signed the visitor’s book.

Members of those visiting teams who are guests for the day.

| 2.
|
Under
Age Drinking
|
|
|
Under
no circumstances whatsoever
will any person who is, or is believed to be, under the age of 18 years be
permitted to consume alcoholic beverages whilst on Deckers Sports and
Social Club premises.
|
| 3.
|
Use
of Illegal Substances (Drugs)
|
|
|
Under
no circumstances whatsoever will
any selling, buying, distributing or using illegal substances (drugs) be
permitted whilst on Deckers Sports and Social Club premises.
|
| 4.
|
Use
of Fruit Machines
|
|
|
The
Fruit Machines in the Main Bar are for the exclusive use of all Club
members over 18 years of age.
|
| 5.
|
Family
Card Membership
|
|
|
| Full
membership of Deckers Sports and Social Club under this category is
open to the applicant and spouse/partner, and their children under
18 years of age.
|
|
| 6.
|
Dress
in Main Bar.
|
|
|
It
is a requirement that all members and their guests will be appropriately
dressed when using club facilities. Under
no circumstances are vests, sports clothing, or similar attire considered
‘appropriate’ and offenders will be asked to leave or make immediate
alternative clothing arrangements.
No
football, rugby or cricket boots having studs or similar are to be worn
within the Club bars.

Drinks
Outside the Main Building Area
|
|
|
All
drinks supplied for consumption outside the main building area will be
provided in plastic containers.
|
| 8.
|
Sports
Bags
|
|
|
No
sports bags or equipment are to be left, or placed, in any area where an
obstruction is likely to result, or where access under normal or emergency
circumstances will be impaired.
No
sports bags or equipment are either taken into or left in the main bar
area as a general rule, and are either to be left outside or placed in the
owner’s transport, or in any place of safety the Management Committee
may, from time to time.

Main
Bar
|
|
|
The
main bar is for the exclusive use of club members and their guests.
|
| 10.
|
Private
Functions
|
|
|
Facilities
hired to Club Members or third parties for the purposes of a private
function are not available to other bona fide Club Members (or their
guests) during the period for which the facility/facilities have been
hired
|
| 11.
|
Club
Functions
|
|
|
From
time to time the Management Committee arranges functions where Club
facilities (most specifically the Function Room) are utilized for the
running of the function. Entrance
to these functions by other than those entitled to be at the function
(usually by pre-issued ticket) will not be permitted.

| 12.
|
Personal
Belongings
|
|
|
No
responsibility will be taken for personal belongings or valuables of Club
Members, their guests or visitors left either in the changing room areas
or in any vehicle left in the car park.
Neither will any responsibility be taken for the safety of vehicles
left in the car park at any time.
|
| 13.
|
Refunds
from Fruit Machines
|
|
|
In
the event of demonstrably short pay out from the fruit machine then the
Club may make up the difference provided that proper enquiries have been
made and that those enquiries satisfactorily prove that a fault has really
occurred.
|
| 14.
|
Drinking
up Time.
|
|
|
The
period for ‘Drinking up’ permitted after the Bar(s) are normally
closed is 20 minutes following the normal closure of the Main Bar.
During
Saturday evenings in the Function Room there will be no drinking up time
permitted after the closure of the Function Room Bar at the close of any authorized
extended hours of opening.

Children
|
|
|
It
is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to supervise their
children on the premises.
|
